Located on the outskirts of the small village of Llanos de Don Juan, in Rute, Córdoba. Ideal for getting to know the towns in the area such as Priego de Córdoba, Rute, Lucena, Iznajar, etc.. or for getting away to some of the most touristic cities in Andalusia such as Córdoba, Seville, Granada, Málaga, Antequera, Ronda, Úbeda, etc. all located between 1 hour or hour and a half.

The wooden house with 2 floors and 62 m2 and 16 m2 of terrace we have made with the whole family, trying to take care of all the details to make it as pleasant and cozy as possible since when it is not rented we use it as a guest house.

The house is next to the property in which we reside, although totally independent and is accessed by a sliding mechanical door, with which guests will have all the privacy they want. It has some closures that are lowered to separate the plot of the house from our plot.

It is built on a plot of about 205 m2, with a large artificial grass garden where children can play without getting hurt. In this outdoor space we have a 50 m2 wooden porch and Arabic tiles where we have a wood-burning oven, barbecue, bar, sink and a small refrigerator, along with a large tiled table with 6 seats. We also have a 5-seater jacuzzi, which you can hire optionally, so you can relax and let yourself go.

On the ground floor we have a dining room with a table for 4 people, a 2-seater sofa bed, and an armchair, smart TV. Fully equipped kitchen with American bar, with 2-burner induction hob, combi fridge, dishwasher, Italian and espresso coffee makers, blender, blender, food processor, washer-dryer, oven and microwave. As well as a spacious bathroom with shower.

On the top floor we have a magnificent bedroom with a 1.50x1.90 m double bed and a two-seater divan as well as a terrace with incredible views of the mountains. We also have some hooks to place a hammock for the little ones. From here there is access to an incredible terrace with views of the Sierras Subbéticas and the large olive groves in the area.

It is surrounded by olive trees, at the end of a street without traffic, having the possibility of opening one of the doors that leads to the field, to be able to go out to the olive groves for a walk.

Also, if you are interested, we have a space to accommodate the car inside the property, although there is no parking problem outside, as the street hardly has traffic.

The house has WIFI and air conditioning on both floors.

From May 1 to June 23 and from September 9 to November 5, we also enable the pool area, so that you can take a dip if you wish to enjoy the water in complete privacy since you will not be seen from our house.

VISITS IN LESS THAN AN HOUR

As an activity that we would recommend you to do first, is to visit the Lucena tourist office, just 6 km from the house, it offers many tourist attractions, from its history, represented in buildings such as the Castillo del Moral and the old Medinaceli palace, the Church of San Mateo, the House of the Counts of Santa Ana or the House of the Rico de Rueda; its artisan tradition, especially in goldsmithing and pottery; its gastronomy, of which its wines give sample; and, lastly, their parties. You can also take a bike route from the station of the old Oil Train track, where the Subbética greenway passes, one of the longest in Andalusia.

Rute, famous for its mantecados, and liqueurs, where you can visit the museums of Ham, Anis, Polvorón, etc., where they will give you free tastings of their products and is located 13 km from the house. You can also visit the La Hoz River Gorge, about 20 km from the house, or an ancient Holm oak declared a Natural Monument by the Ministry of the Environment of the Junta de Andalucía, just 2 km from the house.

You should also not miss visiting Iznajar, 26 km away, a town completely surrounded by one of the largest reservoirs in Andalusia, with Valdearenas beach, and where you can practice water sports such as rafting on the Genil river, or kayaking.

In the town of Cabra, 12 km from the house is the Infanta Margarita Regional Hospital, a city very rich in heritage, such as the Municipal Auditorium, the Oil Train Interpretation Center, the Virgen de la Sierra Hermitage from where you can see much of Andalusia, or the Fuente del Río.

Priego de Córdoba 29 km away, one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, where you can see the Barrio de la Villa, the Balcón del Adarve and the Fuente del Rey, Carnicerías Reales, the Arab castle of the 13th and 14th centuries or the monumentality of the best Andalusian Baroque in its churches such as the Iglesia de la Asunción from the 16th century.

About 45 km away is Antequera, where in addition to the city you can visit one of the most impressive geological formations in southern Europe, El Torcal de Antequera, specifically in Villanueva de la Concepción. As well as the archaeological complex of the dolmens of Antequera, a World Heritage Site.

VISITS FOR MORE THAN ONE HOUR

The beaches of the Costa del Sol in Malaga are 100 km from the house, where you can visit the Picasso Museum, La Alcazaba, or the Port of Malaga.

The city of Ronda 135 km away, famous for its historic center, bullring, or impressive Tajo.

The city of Córdoba 85 km away, a World Heritage Site where you can visit the Mosque-Cathedral or Medinat Azahara 12 km from the city:

The city of Granada, where the Alhambra Generalife is located, 95 km away. If you are interested in visiting the second most visited monument in Spain, you should get your tickets well in advance online as they sell out very quickly.

And finally, we recommend you to visit the historic center cities of Úbeda and Baeza in Jaén, 150 km away, World Heritage cities.
